On our recent trip to Hong Kong and Thailand we were able to fly in a 747 with Lufthansa and then on two Airbus A380s with Thai Airways. While both were great, the Lufthansa plane was a bit older.
We took pictures on the Lufthansa flight, but they seem to be lost on a phone. On Lufthansa we sat in the very first row, while we had extra room to stretch out the overall.
I regret not taking pictures of the seats full reclined. In Lufthansa the seat was not a lie flat bed, but Thai Airways was lie flat. The two lounge pictures are first from the Senator Lounge in JFK and then one of the Senator Lounges in Frankfurt.
One of the ways in which Thai Airways sets itself apart is in personalization and customization. Look at the butter and the beer. Thai Airways… Smooth as Silk.
